Professional Development Grants

The Foundation provides funding for educators to receive financial assistance for professional educational development. Funds from the Foundation grants may apply toward conference registrations, certifications, graduate degree work, workshops, or for the purchase of materials for innovative curricular projects. Programs include:  The Ernie Pence Memorial Grant, The Joy Bayshore Memorial Fund, The Mary Bagge Andres Memorial Fund, and CRCSF Grants.

Applicants may be teachers, as well as other district staff seeking professional development. It is required that the recipient of a grant must return to the CRCSD for at least one year following the completion of the funded professional growth activity.

The applications will be evaluated based upon the following criteria:
• Articulation of purpose
• Relationship to student learning goals.
• Description of impact on students and student learning
• Overall impression and clarity of application
