Professional Development Grants

The Foundation provides funding for educators to receive funding for professional educational development. Funds from the Foundation grants may apply toward conference registrations, professional internships, advanced degree work, workshops, or for the purchase of books or materials for innovative curricular projects. There are three programs:  The Ernie Pence Memorial Grant, The Joy Bayshore Memorial Fund, and CRCS Foundation Grants.

“Through the Foundation’s support, I’ve been able to augment my professional development through the study of the Swahili language. This has allowed me to continue fostering relationships with our ELL families at Hoover.”

Jenifer Carstensen, ELL teacher, Hoover Elementary
