About Our Fundraiser

The Washington High School Class of 2025 is getting ready to celebrate the end of their high school journey, and we need your help to make it memorable!

Please join us in supporting the graduating seniors by contributing to their Class celebration. This safe, drug- and alcohol-free celebration occurs after Prom at the Cedar Rapids Bowling Center.

ALL WHS seniors are encouraged to attend—whether they go to the dance or not! They can also invite a guest.

The celebration is completely free for students, with food, games, prizes, and plenty of fun—thanks to generous donations from our community. We rely on the support of senior families to make this event happen, and we also ask underclass families to contribute and help out by volunteering. This tradition ensures that each year’s event is just as successful as the last, and any leftover funds help kickstart next year’s celebration.

Your donation, of any amount, will go directly to the WHS Senior Class fund through the Cedar Rapids Community Schools Foundation. It’s fully tax-deductible, and if your employer offers matching gifts, we welcome those as well. Partnering with the Foundation also helps ensure the event remains strong for years to come with proper financial oversight and support.

All donors will be recognized at Senior Recognition Night and through school distributions.
