So, you’re a new District alum!

As the Executive Director of the Cedar Rapids Community Schools Foundation, let me be one of the first to congratulate you on your graduation from high school.

You are an important part of the 148-year educational heritage of the Cedar Rapids Community School District, and the Foundation wants to strengthen that heritage by celebrating you and your accomplishments.

As you embark on your life after graduation, there are numerous ways for you to stay involved and connected with the District – by attending sporting events, concerts, and reunions; by volunteering to help with school activities; or just by being a resource within your area of expertise through your career of choice.  The Foundation will always seek opportunities for your involvement as alumni … so feel free to contact us anytime.  (I know you can’t text us, but go old school and email or call!)

The Foundation is proud of you and this milestone accomplishment.  And we hope you are proud of us – of your education … and of your years as a *insert appropriate response here: Warrior, Cougar, J-Hawk, Phoenix.*

Now … go throw your hat high!
